SERVICES

 BUILD  SOCIAL SKILLS.

Vicious Cycle was designed to not only offer a free service to the community, but to provide a nurturing environment for our students at SPHS. Social tension is an unfortunate variable in high school, and Vicious Cycle has been designed to assist those who have issues communicating freely. Tasks like these (bike repair) require communication. This program is designed to help break that barrier and lift the gates of social tension.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

1

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Part of running a business requires leadership. Here at VC, everyone will get a taste of what leadership is like, and bring out the leader in all of our students.

2

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Of course, part of this initiative is to teach the importance of community. We are reaching out to anyone in our area with issues regarding your bicycle.

3

STUDENT INVOLVEMENT

REQUEST A REPAIR

Students that are selected will be actively involved with all aspects of the business. We ask that when dropping off a bicycle, you treat our students with kindness, and follow the directions given to you.

Fill out our service request form! (your information will be stored in our secure google drive folder, only accessible by our administrative staff.)

The form will ask a few questions just so when you arrive, we have a better sense of the issue and we're on the same page.

Disclaimer: If your bicycle is deemed unsafe for our students to repair, we reserve every right to refuse service under protection of the Maine Employee Rights and Maine Child Labor Laws. Feel free to contact SPHS at (207)767-3266 (ask to speak with either Scott Keysor or Sheree Inman) if you have any questions.
